MANILA, Philippines – Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Jesus Verzosa said on Sunday that, “it is now time to move forward and start anew,” as he owned responsibility for the police’s handling of the August 23 taking incident in Manila that claimed the lives of eight Hong Kong residents and the dismissed policeman who had taken them hostage.
